1701 A.D. is a Sim-based RTS game that allows you to create a colony, fight off your enemies, trade to boost your economy, and eventually watch it grow into a thriving Civilization.
The choices for building your colonies differ greatly because each island has different resources, which forces you to trade with your allies or enemies. You can build up your own army or get troops from your Mother Country as you fight off the invaders.
