1943 is a vertical shooter made by Capcom. It is the sequel to 1942.
1943 is the sequel to Capcom's highly successful vertical shooter 1942. The game takes place in the Pacific theater of WWII, and consists of 16 levels through which the player must destroy waves of enemies to take on a large battleship or bomber boss at the level's conclusion. The player, as in the previous game, pilots a P-38 plane.
