Has anyone else sent an email asking to work here?

Ive sent an email about a month ago and havent got a response yet. Id like to work there some ex employee guy from gamespot works there and ra salvatore works there. Also i like that ex employee guy he was fun to watch on tournament tv i just cant remember his name and dont want to do research.

Did you send it to their jobs address?  Which position are you going for?  Keep in mind that they're probably like any other developer and get hundreds or even thousands of general inquiries every month, with a good portion of those probably being about employment.  Was there anything about your email that made it stand out from the crowd?  Do you have a resume, portfolio or demo disc you can send them?

Think about it from their perspective.  If you were the guy sifting through hundreds of emails - why would you reply to Levio91?  What does he have to offer that the other 500 people who sent emails looking for jobs don't?

Wow...you're so likely to get the job with that attitude to research...
Besides, I recall about a month or two ago, when they were explaining not to ask about being a mod that it's a waste of time to ask for a job, and that positions will be advertised in due course.

Wow I really need to learn me some c++ if im ever going to find a job in the video game making industry if 500 people are trying to work at every place.
