    Why is my health/magic different every time I play?

    The first time I played I had 5 apples, then I had 3, now I have 6.  I have a similar problem with the magic bottles.  Glitch or weird game mechanic?

    Choosing different characters maybe? I remember them having some kind of stat difference, but this was about 3 months ago since I tried the game.
