Via 4gamer, according to Shu Takumi who was the director for Ace Attorney 1-3 and Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright, his new title will be announced next year. In addition, Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies director Takeshi Yamazaki stated that the development team is actively developing the next title in the Ace Attorney series, though they've just started.

Not surprising, since Dual Destinies was a big success in Japan. It'll probably be a 3DS game again and I hope the western sales will justify a North America and Europe localization.

As much as I would love a new Ace Attorney game, I think its time for Capcom to allow Shu Takumi to revisit the Ghost Trick universe.

Even though I've got it on DS, I recently got all the chapters of Ghost Trick on iOS on the cheap and I think I'll revisit that soon; that was a great game.
