    Ace Combat on the 3DS is actually, very, very nice. It strikes a very happy balance between what made the old games fun, and what few good ideas Assault Horizon on, er, other consoles had. Two thumbs up from me.

    I'd have to say the best part of Ace Combat, for me at least, is the truly authentic plane models. In AC:AH the opening sequence where you fly the F22 stuck me stupid with its complete realism (the cockpit that is). As someone who works on this plane for a living, it was a bit of a shock seeing the place I work everyday on a video game. Even though I'm a little confused how they managed to show some of that stuff...
