Save your self some time on survival and take a dive when you pass the time you need.  Sure you could stay alive for an hour, but why not speed it up when most records are only a few minutes.

The 3rd Time Trial where you have to beat 1:54 was a bear for me. I couldn't get better than 1:55. Once I beat the game, I ran through the beginning of the game again and leveled up more and got it with time to spare. 
But that one time trial was the only one I had issues with.

On insanity, the volcanic hunt is nigh impossible, beware.

I can confirm the impossibility of the hunt on Insanity. To get this achievement (while still pursuing the insanity difficulty achievement) I saved, switched to casual difficulty, got "Best of the Best", then loaded the save and continued my Insanity run.

The only  challenges  that I found fairly dificult, were the Time Atacks, the rest is pretty easy.

Hunt... Volcanic... Pirates... One minute fifty four seconds... 
This one is the hardest one to beat, out of all the hunt, time trial, survival, capture and even Ahren's survival mission... This was the hardest.
