If anyone is looking to give out one of their 5 codes, I'd be stoked to accept one.  Been looking at getting into this game but I don't want to drop $50 without trying it.

I received an email that the buddy code system is live now for all users. However, unless you have someones DVDs to install it on your rig, you are going to be stuck paying a fee to download the game. I believe the fee is $2.99 and you get 3 extra days worth of play.

I'm not sure how willing I'd be to pay such a fee.

Why would you pay a fee to download the game client?
Because it's 12 GB? So what?
If they had a problem providing that then why didn't they do like in guild wars or world of warcraft where you download content as you run around?

First you had to pay to beta test and now we have to pay to try a demo/trial as well?
