The Amesha Spenta of longevity in Zoroastrian folklore. She is often associated with Haurvatat, the embodiment of wholeness.
An Iranian goddess associated with pure waters. She would be assumed into Zoroastrianism and is a cognate in name and function with the Hindu goddess Sarasvati.
One of the Amesha Spentas, or Bounteous Immortals, in Zoroastrianism. She represents and personifies Holy Devotion to the supreme god Ahura Mazda.
Hero of Persian myth who slew the dragon Zahhak, also known as Azhi Dahaka, or in other sources revolted against an evil king of the same name. He would later become king himself.

Persian prophet who founded the Zoroastrian religion. His monotheistic religious philosophy was a reaction against the polytheistic rituals of the Indo-Iranian priestly caste of which his family was a part.
