I must say, this mode actually looks like a fair bit of fun and I'm enjoying how single player progress will open up more weapons and things for Wake to use in this mode. I don't know if I'm alone, but I always really enjoyed the combat in Alan Wake, so a wave based survival mode is fine by me. It might not be the direct sequel to Alan Wake I was waiting for, but I'm enjoying the pulpy From Dusk till Dawn influence and it's definitely one of my most anticipated titles.

Combat was the one thing I didn't like about Alan Wake, so this isn't going to excite me.

I enjoyed the combat in Alan Wake up until about the last level or second last level where it became a bit boring and didn't change that much. I probably get this if there is enough story content in it and if they keep the combat interesting. I take it there is no co op mode for this. Thanks for posting this.

This looks pretty good, did they say if that it had multiplayer or not?

It's nice that they're trying to improve the combat, but lack of enemy and weapon variety was the least of its problems.

I wish the camera was pulled back a little more as its annoying when there are 2 or 3 behind you that you don't know about
