Dr. Bradley Ragland works in the morgue of St. Paul's Hospital. Though he refuses to work with Blackwatch forces, he aids Alex Mercer in his attempt to contain the viral outbreak.
The sister of Alex Mercer, Dana Mercer investigates Gentek's research into biogenics. She works with her brother in the hope of exposing Gentek for their crimes against humanity.
Karen Parker is the former coworker and girlfriend of Alex Mercer. A researcher on the Blacklight virus, she later helps Alex in containing the outbreak.
The two become allies in the end.
