Little is known of Alexander of Brennenburg; according to some accounts he is a harmless aristocrat, having inherited his vast estate and fortune from ancient nobility, according to others he is behind the unnatural disappearances that have occurred in the nearby countryside, and that he has lived far beyond his natural lifespan.
