6.5/10  Agree or Disagree?
 
I'm very excited about the game so i personally disagree.

maybe the game isn't as good as you're hoping

Gamespot gave it a 7. I'm looking forward to it but I think I'll wait for it to drop to $39.99. Lot's of EA games have done so relatively quickly on sites like Amazon.

Meh...about what I expected. I'm not sure where the random hype for this game is coming from, the first Alice was kinda crummy.

The first game didn't do very well critically either but I still loved it. Very much looking forward to checking it out for myself.

Nothing I see about this game makes it look very good. I own three copies of Alice in Wonderland, and a crazy gothic version sounds awesome in theory, but just because it has a great concept, it doesn't mean I can overlook how dated it is. Reminds me of a Harry Potter game from around six years ago.

I said I'm excited for the game that doesn't mean I have played it or anything. I have played the first game back when I was younger and enjoyed it so when this got announced,I was pumped for it.

You quite clearly state in your original post that you disagree with IGN's score. And you say you haven't played the game yourself, just that you're excited for it.

Doesn't explain on how you can disagree to a review to a game you haven't actually played yet. Disappointed? I can understand that. But disagree? That's another thing.

Surely you can see how it doesn't make sense to say that you disagree with a review when you have no experience with the game being reviewed? I can say Thor is the worst movie of the year and anyone who gave it a good review is stupid all I want, but it doesn't change the fact that I haven't seen Thor and therefore should not be talking about its quality in any way whatsoever.

Personally I'm a huge fan of the Alice series and I'll probably enjoy the game a lot. Fuck review scores.

@phrosnite: Keep in mind. Using Amazon credits and the 15 dollar discount. I got this game for 25 dollars. I already had my huge pricecut. I can see what you mean, I just think people expected too much from Mr.McGee. He has never made a game with great "gameplay".

Tell that to the reviewers, not the people consuming the review. If they are only going to utilize 1/2 of the scale, a 7 is not a good score.

@sixghost: Even if you are saying they are using half the scale. 7/10 is a 3/5 and thats not terrible.

@Laketown: You have a point. I loved Alpha Protocol as well. The score won't ever effect my enthusiasm for a game, but the review text will.
