I'm really hoping goes down a storm at E3, now is the time for that amazing Aliens game fans have always wished for. With Gearbox's previous experience in developing tactical shooters, and this game coming off the back of Borderlands, I'm quietly confident they'll be able to give this game a solid tactical, & fun arcade feel. We've seen practically nothing of this game, I think that's partly why I'm so excited. The old Gearbox teaser from 2008 still makes the hairs on my neck stand up, the roar in the background sums up my own excitement... I guess I'm hoping for something as awesome as a new film. 

I can't wait to lay down those Sentry guns and spark them up...  I hope Hudson makes a cameo.

If they just released three new screen shots of this game and say that its still coming, that will make me happy.

Looks tacky, the sticker on the ammo counter isnt even on straight. I really hope this game is better than Aliens vs Predator

I'm definitely looking forward to this. 
 
I loved AVP for the PS3, and this is probably going to be even better.

This is destined to be a far superior product than the last diabolical AvP game...It had better be with roughly four years development. Other games have got in the way at Gearbox, but I think the development of those games will have aided this game in some respects.

@Contro: Ugh, they used Poplar as the font on the packaging? Outside of Sand and Comic Sans, I can barely think of fewer fonts that I'd consider less "space marine" and "high explosive" than Poplar.

Sega sent the following gift to Official PlayStation Magazine yesterday morning - an E3 reveal seems likely  :)

Well they're only giving a hint, why spend money on anything more than something that gives the right idea?
 
I have AVP and enjoyed it more than most reviewers seemed to, though it was definitely far from perfect, my hope is that Gearbox are just taking note of what was wrong with AVP and making sure this Aliens game becomes the definitive way to kick some xenomorph ass.

Never been a big fan of Aliens, surprisingly so. Never scratched my sci-fi/horror itch.

If Gearbox's game turns out to be as awesome as I expect it to be, I'll celebrate by playing my Nostromo '45 at full blast while popping oldschool disco moves :D

Only Aliens game I ever played was AvP2 and that was pretty good. I hope this turns out to be good, that Creative Assembly game about Alien could be interesting but probably not.

I have faith in Gearbox that this game will not suck, at least not suck as hard as AvP did.
 
I like to keep this handy.... for close encounters.
