Short version: The PS3 version fixes a lot of complaints people had with the game. On one hand, that's pretty awesome. On the other hand, PC and 360 owners paid 60 smackers for a game that even the developer admits was pretty broken. So I guess it's better than releasing the PS3 version without changing anything, but on the other hand, why didn't they just playtest and tweak it some more so everyone could play a decent game? 360 and PC owners were basically the beta testers for this game, except they had to pay. Gutted. I didn't buy it, but as someone who was interested in this game (until all the reviews), I must admit I might buy it if the patch actually fixes the game to a playable state, it'll even be cheaper. Great for people like me, sucks for early adopters.
I guess it's a damned if you do, damned if you don't scenario. Ideally, the game would've spent a little more time in development and it would've been like this to begin with. But that's water under the bridge. What do you guys think of this?
