Early Life and Career
Born in Rochford, Essex, England on August 28th 1965 but moved to Ontario, Canada when she was 3 years old. Tapping graduated from The University of Windsor School of Dramatic Arts and starred in a variety of stage and television roles, including the likes of The X-Files. In 1997 she landed the role of Captain Dr. Samantha Carter in the television series Stargate SG-1 - the television adaptation of the 1994 feature film Stargate.
Game Appearences
Tapping gave her likeness and voice to three Stargate games to date - Stargate SG-1: Unleashed, Stargate: Resistance, and Stargate SG-1: The Alliance; in both cases portraying the same character that she did in the TV series.
