A first-person survival horror game with advanced physics-based puzzles from Frictional Games, the creators of the Penumbra series. Its dynamic of light and darkness and focus on avoidance of enemies rather than combat have been highly influential in recent horror games.
@AhmadMetallic: Honestly I tried playing Amnesia when it first came out and made it to the Prison where I was too frightened to go on. Recently I decided to give it another shot, in the spirit of Halloween and whatnot, and found that the scariest part is the first half (up to the Prison). Well, for me anyway. After that it feels much more like an adventure game. Yes, there are still monsters and I wont spoil anything, but it's not so bad if you keep at it. I found the story alone to be enough for me to push on.
Good luck to those who've yet to beat it! :3
PS If anyone wants tips/help with the game, just ask! ^_~
