A Lacklustre Platformer with an Interesting Mechanic 0

And Yet It Moves was a game I picked up from “Steam’s Indie Bundle” upon the release of Steam on Mac. At first it was not a game I was particularly interested in playing; the other games in the pack such as Machinarium and World of Goo had attracted me to it far more than this. My name is Dido, Fido Dido 0

When looking at a screenshot or video of And Yet It moves it is apparent that this is a indie game. Visuals look like these are just thrown together without lot's of time or effort. Broken Rules, the developers behind the game simply didn't have a graphics artist when making this game. This doesn't change the fact that this is still a very good game. At least on Wii. A bundle that also included Super Meat Boy, vvvvvv, Shank, bit.trip runner , Cave Story +, Cogs, Crayon Physics Deluxe, Gratuitous Space Battles, Hammerfight, Jamestown and Nightsky..I had already played Sup...

Everything surrounding the character is amazing. 0

Art design is impeccable.I heard good things about this game many years ago from the IGF and other word of mouth methods but if a game is worth playing, it usually has to come to me which it did when during one of Steam's infamous sales. I'm glad I did buy it because And Yet It Moves is a surprisingly creative and well executed platformer that I would recommend playing or at the very least trying out.Let's start off with the good stuff. The game's basic mechanic is that you are a paper man in a ...
