I was wondering what getting all the fossils got you?

@joeyoe31: Actually the golden shovel is gained by buying 50 bags of fertilizer from the garden shop.

I remember reading somewhere that donating all the fossils is pointless and merely for feeling good about yourself.

Well, I’m going to keep digging, but the diminishing returns once you’ve found a lot of them really does slow things down pretty bad. That damned owl and his spiel about his childhood is getting tired. Anyway, the Stockholm syndrome is strong with this game, so I’ll keep playing.
