Because of Carmine's overwhelming popularity in the original Gears of War, his brother, Benjamin Carmine, is a character in Gears of War 2. Anthony Carmine is a playable character in the Gears of War 2 multiplayer if you have unlocked the "Completed Act 1" achievement from the original Gears of War.
A gear assigned to Delta Squad, Carmine is the youngest member.
Carmine is one of the original members of Delta squad. He serves with Marcus through portions of the game’s first act, until he is shot in the head by a Locust sniper while complaining about his gun's constant jamming. Ironically, Carmine was also voted "most likely to get shot" in the COG Academy.
