Anyone else crashing right after the unreal logo every time they launch it?

Overheard on the steam forums: Install PhysX, even if you have ATI. It apparently helped some people, hopefully that fixes it for you.

I personally had 2 CTD while playing, once during logos, once about 10 minutes into the game (nothing was lost, yay auto-saves), then it was smooth sailing all the way to the finish line. Side note, i have an nvidia card with latest drivers, so physx was already installed.

maybe this is all part of some meta game that anti chamber is playing on everyone

Yes, the UDK needs the most recent version of PhysX to launch, the version that comes with the game on Steam is not new enough. Download this:

http://www.nvidia.com/object/physx-9.12.1031-driver.html

and you should be fine.

I'm still getting the error after updating PhysX. My Nvidia drivers are up to date too. Any ideas?
