Antwahn Nance is a retired former professional basketball player. After graduating from Grambling University in 1990, he went undrafted in the 1990 NBA Draft. He was eventually signed by the Los Angeles Clippers of the NBA while playing in Venezuela. After being released by the Clippers following the 1990-1991 season, he played all around the world professionally for the next 11 years. He ended up playing professionally in Italy, Spain, Greece, Turkey, Argentina, China, Ukraine, and Brazil until falling out of the game in 2002 due to drug addiction and substance abuse.

Nance's only acting credit is a 1994 FMV-based video game created by developer Digital Pictures: Slam City with Scottie Pippen. He played a maniacal, unhinged street basketball player named “Smash”. His character always screamed, grunted, and rarely spoke intelligible English. He also appears as Smash in cut-scenes while that play while the player is competing against the other four characters.

Unfortunately, Nance's professional and personal life took a huge nosedive as drug addiction and substance abuse enveloped him, forcing him out of basketball and ending his hopes of an NBA return.

In May 2006, Nance was featured on the A&E show Intervention. He agreed to go to rehabilitation. He successfully completed a 90-day program and was placed in a halfway house. However, he was expelled from the house due to consistently breaking curfew. According to the show, he relapsed and ended up homeless on the streets of Los Angeles again shortly after being kicked out.

The rehabilitation facility that Nance completed treatment in, A Sober Way Home, contacted him after hearing of his relapse and asked if he would like to complete the program again. He agreed. Both he and his girlfriend (who is addicted to heroin) accepted the invitation. Both left after just one week. After leaving rehab, Nance got in trouble with the law.

    Nance's current whereabouts are unknown.
