This game is old, its not pretty by today standards but once you immerse in it its heaven.
I played this game so many times i cant remember, tried out every race, every stat formation, and i enjoyed every single play through for every play trhough was different.
Really for those who like themselves some RPG check this game out.

Yeah, it's a sad fact that this game was a victim of its poor release. It came out when people were gorged on this type of CRPG, it was being strictly compared (perhaps to an unfair degree) to Fallout in a way that overshadowed its distinct qualities, and was riddled with bugs initially. People just wrote it off as a cheap 'me too' entry and it never recovered from that image.

By today's standards this game's depth and breadth is nearly unheard of. Anyone who misses those 'old glory days' of CRPGs should definitely give this one a try if they can find it, especially considering they probably haven't played it.

I suppose it would help if there was an actual article up for the game beside my work on the Arcanum setting. I guess it's time to get to work...
