    Arrowhead Game Studios AB is a Swedish developer of Xbox 360/PC game Magicka.

    Arrowhead Game Studios is a game developing company from the northern parts of Sweden. The members of Arrowhead Game Studios had originally developed Magicka as a student project and as a result the studio was created after Magicka had won "Game of the Year" for Swedish Game Awards of 2008.

    The studio has finished and release of Magicka for the PC and XBOX360, and brought out several DLC packages. Arrowhead is currently working on The Showdown Effect, an over the top 2D shooter and is expected to be released Q3 2012.
