Akihabara Pics Via New Gallery Tool

Here's some shots of what we did today, packaged up in a handy new image gallery embed tool you can use yourself in your blogs and forum posts.

As we were running around Akihabara and the surrounding wilds today, I set a goal of snapping at least 18 worthwhile pictures of interesting things we saw. Why 18, you ask? Because our new image gallery embed tool outputs images in a grid six pictures wide, that's why! We'll use this thing at TGS and in the future to post screenshots, event images, or whatever else tickles our fancy.

You can use it too, to stick image galleries from your profile into your forum posts and blogs on the site. Just hit the "Insert Image" button in the post form as usual, and then go to the "My Galleries" category as indicated in the amazingly rendered instructive image to your right there.

Here's how it looks, with the Akihabara photos. You probably can't see it in the photo, but that Mega Drive version of Maximum Carnage is 98,000 yen. That's almost $1000 US. WHAT?!

Whaddaya know, that actually does look pretty neat. Thanks to our engineering ninjas! Ninjaneers? Ugh, no, forget I said that.

TGS is, like, 10 hours away, so look for a bunch of stuff to hit the site tomorrow.
