There's been talk of an Army of Two sequel going around a bit these days, but Shacknews has something slightly more concrete, as they've noticed that the game's official site has been updated and the page's source has things like "the definitive third person co-op shooter is back" written in it. That's a rather bold claim, wouldn't you say? Especially considering the definitive third-person co-op shooter shipped last week. Wait... maybe we both need to look up the definition of "definitive." I'm pretty sure it just links to a picture of Marcus Fenix at this point.
There are also references to ARMYOFTWOTFD in the page code, all of which appears like it's been built to link somewhere else, once that somewhere else has been announced and published. Chris Faylor at the Shack is thinking this means the game's subtitle will abbreviate to TFD. Hmm. Let's see if I can crack this wicked code.
- The Final Day
- Try Feeding Dogs
- Two Faced Devil
- Tribeca Film Depot
- Tools Face Desperados
Wait, I've got it...
The Fistbumps Double
You heard it here first. Twice as many fistbumps in Army of Two Two. First person to tell me that fistbump is two words gets fistbumped in the FACE, bro.
As for the concept of the game existing? Not my first choice on the "EA games I'd like to see more of," but if they fill the dialogue full of more aimless discussion of the Wu-Tang Clan, I'd play it.
