Wow, I didn't think box art could make lose confidence in the quality of a game but whether its right or not, there it is in Rock Revolutions. What a sneaky, underhanded trick Konami are trying to get away with.

HAHA, those look similar as well. I had people LAUGHING their asses off last night at GameStop during the Fallout 3 launch over this whole debacle; very humorous indeed!

I don't know who that is and I don't really care. But most people don't think cowboy hat wearin' dudes when they think rock music. It doesn't seem like the best way to pitch the game at all... I mean, really, the Rock Revolution cover just screams Rock Band TOO!!!

At first I agreed that this is very well sinister... but BAJA is not a huge brand nor is the game a huge seller. An argument can be made that how else did they want to show off the game on the cover considering so many games like that look the same?

the only similar thing i see in rock revolution is blue,  other then that  nothing really,  not nearly as bad as the baja games

'Rock Revolution's box art is terribly designed. The composition and everything is horrible. Not to mention the incredibly bland logo with it's 'drop shadow' effect. God that game looks horrible, even the gameplay looks backward.

This is kinda stupid...I mean the first one is close but they are both Baja Racing Games...and the others are both Rock Band Sim Games.  Like can Lucas Arts sue every person who has ever made a space related movie or game because all of the posters and box arts look simular to the star wars one?  I mean if the stuff is from the same source material it isn't really fair to sue over it.  Think how crazy it'd be if 2K sued EA Sports because the Madden 06 box art looked too close to the ESPN NFL 2K5 cover.  Get my point?  Maybe there was something there and maybe they did copy a little bit but really...who cares?

i really feel bad for the clueless parents who buy Rock Revolution for their kids, mistaking it for Rock Band 2.  I am 100% certain it will happen many, many times this holiday season.

0kAmui0 is right. This is basically a way to trick parents into buying the wrong game for their kids. I know my mom would definitely fall for something like that and shes not even that bad with video game names. I just hope that both games just end up changing their covers instead of getting sued. Its never a good day when stuff like this happens.

The blue truck on Activision's game dosen't have lights on the roof, plus there's a dirtbike. Case dismissed.

Blue is just the way to go these days.

Both of those also have similar names. Similar name and cover art and some people might get fooled. Especially when a kid sends his parents to by the game.

Yeah, they definitely ripped off the Rock Band 2 box art. But let's face it, that's the only way Rock Revolution is going to sell more than 10 copies.

That's pretty odd. I wonder if was just a coincidence, that they look a lot alike.

The sad fact is this will most likely fool some people buying one for a gift.  Save your receipts people.
