Call of Duty: Black Ops' RC Car isn't a gag killstreak reward. It's a rolling surveillance device that helps people kill more people. And soon you'll be able to get your hands on a working toy version of it--provided you have the cash to purchase, presumably, the most expensive Black Ops collector's edition.
Just like its predecessor Modern Warfare 2, Black Ops will offer two special edition bundles: Prestige and Hardened. The Prestige bundle is the one that includes the aforementioned remote controlled car. But in addition to being able to roll around on the ground, it can also transmit audio and TFT color video at up to 200 feet, making it quite possibly the weirdest surveillance device this side of night vision goggles.
The Prestige bundle also includes everything the Hardened Edition will ship with come this November: a limited edition medal, a Black Ops Avatar suit, and four co-op maps.
The Prestige and Hardened bundles will be available for both the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the game. No official price has been announced quite yet, but as Kotaku notes, GameStop is listing the bundles at $150 and $80 dollars respectively. Spend wisely.
