Dance Central 2 Confirmed, Offers Full Track Export

As expected, Harmonix developers were on hand at Microsoft's E3 2011 press conference to demo the sequel to its hit Kinect dance game, Dance Central.

Project Lead Kasson Crooker introduced the game with the news that all tracks from the original Dance Central would export for Dance Central 2, thus offering what Crooker said would be "the most music available for any dance game, anywhere."

Beyond that? Hey guys, more dancing! New dances, characters, venues, career mode, and multiplayer options. Looks pretty fun, as usual.

Saw the Crooker name and thought: " Oh shit, this will feature Crookers!!" Sadly, no.

Glad there's track exporting like with Rock Band. Hopefully, they have something new (as in franchise) to show.

They were dancing in sync, but I'm more curious if the kinect has the ability to recognize two people playing on different difficulties. For Rock Band, its important that people can play on whatever difficultly they like independent of other players/

Your gonna need a bigger house ... how in hell can you get two people throwing their hands and feet around in a normal living room.

Cannot wait! I love the original - still play it often, at least once a week. Looking forward to new songs.

This'll be a day one purchase in my house whether I care or not.
Can't wait to see the track list.
 
Really looking forward to career mode and co-op. Really hoping "new characters" means "customizable".

I think the guy never heard of Stepmania and similar games and it's 3000+ song set lists.

Sweet with the export. Now, if they allow setlists so you can dance to several songs in a row this would be great.

It's fun to play on my own but with friends...it's kind of akward.
