Don't Expect David Jaffe's Next Game Next Week

I do not like David Jaffe. Watching him on Bonus round is horrible.

WOW!  I'll never understand the hatred for Jaffe.  Dood may be opinionated, but that doesn't make him a dick persay.  It just means he's willing to speak with no bullshit.

Without the knowledge that E3 is next week, that statement would be perfectly reasonable. With it, I'm hoping that his next game is God of War, Jr :P. Ecco did it, Street Fighter did it (sorta), so why not God of War?

Too bad.  I really hope it's Twisted Metal and it's a great evolution of the series.

How can you guys hate him? I think he's a great guy! He hates on all you douchebags on forums that talk shit about him all the time. To me he's just another game developer trying hard to not get shitted on by all the Nintendo and MS fanboys out there. Sure, I'll probably never play his new game because I don't own a PS3 but I still think it's cool he talks to the community and doesn't just ignore us completely.

I quite like Jaffe, though i've only actually seen him since being on the Bonus Round.
He can have different opinions, but he means what he says. It's awesome to see such honest, unfiltered passion.

I've never heard of this guy. Never seen any of his interviews, read any of his articles and I've never seen him hype a game. But I know he's good at what he does, if only because of the variance in replies to this thread. A few people seem to really like the guy, and more than a few people seem to hate him. Either way, it sparks conversation, and conversation makes buzz. You can see where I'm going with this.

I actually really enjoyed his rant about E3, i mean seriously....who wouldn't enjoy E3....i know i would love to go and hope to next year.

i can't believe how some of you idiots think jaffe is an asshole. jaffe has opinions. everyone does and he likes to voice them on his blog. He is actually a really good guy if you visit his blog often and read what he has to say. He really appreciates his fans and always answers to the comments that people make about his vids on his site.

I have never been to E3, but i have to admit that i like the idea of E3 much better than the reality; let loose in a huge stadium like structure and allowed to play all the upcoming games before most of the world, versus standing in the same line for 6 hours to play 1 game. I think i will stick to being an armchair E3 viewer, thanks. Although, i would like to go to at least one game show exhibition before i die.

It's got to be Twisted Metal.
