Wish I had blind fanboism , sorry guys. I just can't get a Sony boner. This launch looks weak.

Even though the remote play looked awesome for Ps4 with Black Flag, I still don't want to buy a Vita. I just can't game a triple A game on such a small screen. I've never been a fan of hand held systems. Not since GameBoy Color with the arcade type games.

But I definitely like what you can do with it, there's no doubt about that.

No mention of Housemarques new game Resogun? It looks to be the spiritual successor to Super StarDust HD and looks good.

It's probably aimed more at parents who'd rather get a cheaper console, don't care about downloading games (they probably don't even know you can), and don't want that satanic garbage GTA coming into their house to corrupt little Timmy.

It makes sense for casuals, but yeah, you or I would be much better off getting the GTA V bundle.

Buying a $299 bundle w/ HDD and a game is still cheaper, unless you never plan on getting an HDD as long as you own the console.

I start to question the price of the 12gb PS3 package with the existence of the $299 PS3+GTA5+HD package, really.

12GB PS3 sounds SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT. I get they need a cheaper console for PS3 as they transition, but goddamn.

@SomeJerk yeah, pretty much all of Sweden gets paid on the 25th of each month. I think I'll pick up a,second controller, watch dovs and possibly Knack

@rahvar: and it's four days after November's payday for most of us, so that means we can buy an even larger package of PS4 games, and have a much easier time fitting a Vita into our budgets.

At least that's my scenario. Make those terrible two weeks easier..

I pre-ordered my PS4 in February and Gamestop Sweden still hasn't announced any bundles.

I'll probably pick up the PS4 and an extra controller from Gamestop since I've paid more than the RRP for my PS4 in game trade-ins. I always read about the horrible amounts Americans get for games at Gamestop but here in Sweden they do run some great promotions. They are running this promotion where you trade in two games from a list and get 60 Euros worth of credit on a pre-order. Thing is that many of these games can be bought from non-specialized stores that carry games that just want to get rid of old stock at a cheap. I have about 450 Euros worth of store credit and I've paid about 200 euros of that by buying two games at 10 euros each for a 60 euro trade-in value.

Also, since I work for an electronics retailer who also carry games I can pick up any game from work cheaper than the Gamestop prices in case a specific game is sold out at Gamestop.

So is it confirmed that they dumped Ustream or are they just adding Twitch as another option?

The price cut on the Vita is nice. I just wish there was something I wanted to play on it. If I have the choice between my giant television and a tiny handheld screen I will pick the TV every time. I understand that some people don't have the luxury of having a gaming PC or a television all the time. I just wish they would put out something that would interest me.

They need to put out a size bigger than 32gb or put out a firmware update that doesn't freak out if you try to swap cards while the system is on. I've passed on purchasing so many good PSN deals just because I didn't want to have to deal with that nonsense.

I was also one of the people wishing for a fantasy October release date just for my own selfish reasons. But now I can finally put my vacation time in for that week and go to the midnight release party at my GameStop. I can't wait!

Lame, but I also have a countdown on my phone going for it as well.

Just wanted to say that I'm taking Nov. 15th off from work to tune into whatever shenanigans GB gets up to on launch day and to set up my console. Looking forward to downloading patches and all day live streaming, make it happen.

Yeah, I know the info now. But I didn't get it from the website I come to for gaming news, the website I have been sponsoring since 2010. I just feel like catering to the significant chunk of users who read this site from Europe shouldn't be that hard, in fact with the international audience they have it should be expected.

I just got disappointed. I came home from work and came directly to Giant Bomb to see what happened at the Sony thing only to find that the information I wanted wasn't here. Had to Google it.

It's not like information is hard to come by these days, but I feel a little alienated to be honest.

I might not be getting one at release but this is pretty sweet.

Vita memory card price drop is the best news to come out of this thing.

Pretty strong showing from the indie side at least. Getting Twitch is pretty big. The dig at MS was lame, it was great during E3 but now you're taking shots at the competition for changing to meet customer demands. Real classy.

I do think it's interesting they didn't say a word about Gaikai (unless I've missed something) so far there's been a long of game being talked about how it's as good as MS's cloud without much from Sony or devs to back it up.

Nice showing from Sony, especially in the indie games department. Good stuff.

Shows touchpad typing of a very nice and accurate degree, it took seven seconds from clicking "join" on the stream until he came in and spawned ready to play, and that is enough of a Streaming machine to suit most people now as a PS4 webcam overlay turns out to be an actual thing.

Very good news. And it's like an expanded PS3 XMB and not a mess of a UI. What a beaut!

Lack luster to say the least, I felt the indie news took way to long we already knew they were being supported. Interface looked alright, i was hoping for news on the cloud service and if they would be doing anything like M$ with servers etc. Rogue legacy is good news, i have the demo but haven't bought it yet on pc. Was also hoping for a 500$ vita bundle, oh well.

And i don't think they dropped ustream, they'll probably support both.

It's already at £169 here, the EU got a price cut to 199 euros. The EU and US price cuts bring it relatively closer to the UK price.

Rime and Everybody's Gone to the Rapture look really interesting. Can't wait to see more. I was hoping to see some gameplay for The Order but I'll wait till later.

@jasonr86: Yeah, I know. I guess it's not that important for a US centred site, and I'm not angry about it, just a bit annoyed/upset (To the same level as when you spill a drink. Patrick Klepek does not sully his articles with references to Old Europe. It's a miracle Sony even managed to telegram it's conference from that godforesaken, urine soaked, hell-hole. It's better to bask solely in the warm glow of these United States, and November the 15th: the only date that matters.

Seems like just yesterday Sony was the "C student" of the gaming world.

I totally understand being opposed to the Xbox One for whatever reasons (as there are many) but the games media have seriously just shit the bed on this whole thing. I would never wish failure on Sony because I'm not a dick, and I preordered it during the press conference too....what frustrates me (because I want to think these writers/podcasters/bloggers aren't swayed by hype of fanboy-ism - that's supposed to be why the get all the products for free) even after the stupid prisoner of the moment e3 hype died down the media is still not pointing out Sony failed to live up to what was expected of them in the past generation while MS continued to one up them with new things, i.e. reinvented their entire platform UI what three times?, constantly added tons of services, and had a network that actually worked and was secure.

Sure Microsoft doesn't deserve any pity for how poorly they handled the announcement and development process of this console, but they deserve way more credit and in the same regard Sony doesn't deserve all the fellatio they're recieveing for scrambling to find games to put on Vita over the past year and basically falling into a winning situation when the media has unanimously interpreted it as "Sony really gets the indie scene, maaaaan."

It's sorta how I feel about Steam fanboyism as well - I mean Steam as an actual program and interface is awful. The program is shit. Yeah, we all like to get stuff cheap but for fucks sake when I click on a game link to read about it and then hit the "back" button Steam can't even remember my place on it's store...I can't imagine allowing something that simple is broken yet nobody says shit. There's games on Steam even Steam doesn't know are there it's so hard to find stuff NOT on the four columns they want to show you. Yet I lost track counting how many times they slammed XBL interface on the Bombcast...seriously? How could you possibly get lost on their store, it's nothing special but it's laid out so clearly I used to want to scream...it was two buttons to find every new release each week and Vinny while being hilarious would be bitching about being lost in his Xbox LOL!...I don't know I got off on a tangent.

All in all - let's stop with so much hyperbole and stick to facts sprinkled with the funny.

ON TOPIC: I doubt you'll hear anything about Sony doing a "180" and copying Microsoft on using twitch as their central video sharing partner instead of Ustream.
