Fez's Delay Into 2012 Is Today's Aww, Man News

Fez creator Phil Fish announced on Twitter this afternoon his highly anticipated puzzle platformer won't be arriving before the end of the year. Considering how long we've been waiting, hey, why not!

Instead, Fez is now penciled in for early 2012.

Based on what I've seen and played, it should be well worth the wait.

I remember first seeing this forever ago on The 1up Show. I've forgotten and remembered it existed several times now. He must be a perfectionist. Well, when the thing finally does come I'll probably play it. Love the look of the world and the mechanic. It just seems like it will be a relaxing & fun adventure.

yeah, move it into next year and try to get some real promotion behind it. It looks cool. I hope it plays well too.

I'm pretty sure I saw this game 4 years ago so early 2012 doesn't matter that much but I was hoping to finally get my hands on it.

I just hope these delays don't make it fall too far off the radar for most people. Can't wait for it!

Aw shucks. Well, at least that gives time to make the game even better.

Thought this might happened as Fez had gone a bit quiet recently. I asked the guys on the EU PSblog about if Fez was gonna be coming to the PS3 as Phil Fish had said he was open to the idea of other platforms and they said "they'd be trying to get in touch with him" so hopefully fingers cross this might be why theres a delay.

It took me a few glances to properly understand the name of this new post. My recommendation is to wrap Aww, Man in quotes; Fez's Delay Into 2012 Is Today's "Aww, Man" News.

You know what, I have enough games to play this fall. Take your time Mr. Fish. Just try to get it out before Mass Effect 3.

All I really know about Fez is that it's awesome looking.

Geez, four years of development? That seems a tad long for the look of the game but I will definitely check it out. It Looks really fresh.

Ohhhhh that's not that's not too far to wait. For some reason I forgot that it was so close, I thought it was over a year out.. jeez well. Now I'm Psyched.

I wouldn't have had time to play this in the big holiday release season anyway.
