It's possible to change the privacy settings so that you can only hear people in your friends list. It's the only way to play IMO.

I am way more happy to see Chet on Giantbomb than Halo dated

I'm definitely looking forward to Sept 14, but unlike a lot of people I'm more interested in playing the revamped single-player campaign that Bungie has been promising (i.e. one that's supposed to be open ended like Halo CE).

God, give Halo a rest already.  I know people who still play Halo 3.  That's like...fucking sad, so many waaaay better games, and a lot of those games are way older than any Halo.  I don't get what the big deal is, it was fun for a while...then there was Call of Duty, now that's played out...FPSes need to fade into the shadows for a while.  Unless this game can give me blowjobs, then fuck it to hell.

The beta was a ton of fun so im totally excited for this. Though I thought it woulda been released a week later since 3 came out on the 25th and ODST came out on the 22nd so i figured Reach may release on the 21st but ill gladly take it on the 14th. Should be great.

Odd. I figured they'd released it on the 21st as the past two Halo games landed on the 25th and 22nd. Meh.

I'm glad this is coming in September and not later in the season.

Also it seems really floaty and annoying where melee is so overpowered. I mean melee should be a last resort but it just seems like it is the best thing to do in this game. Frigging the guns are so weak :\ Just stupid it is meant to be a shooter, not a beat em up.

Wasn't a fan of the beta, so I probably won't be buying the game full price.

meh, think i'm done with halo multi for the most part. Played the beta, seemed fine but feels a bit "modern warfare lite" . I'll probably end up getting it though and giving it a few weeks.
