Here's Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare! On The Wii!

If for no other reason than to spray something Modern Warfare-related across every inch of our website here, I will now share with you the box art and screenshots from the Call of Duty 4 port to the Wii, Reflex Edition.

It doesn't look like complete shit, so I guess that's a plus...

its missing some shadow but its pretty solid

Looks pretty good visually for a Wii game.

doesn't look that bad, actually. i have no interest to play a inferior port of a great game, though.

i remember when some people geniunely thought that WII would be the most powerful new console

Graphics looks good, might be good as an online shooter for Wii, but then again, the people who would want to play FPS games online probably own more then just a Wii

Enough of Call of Duty. I'm tired of hearing about it.

I'll be getting this. WaW for Wii was great both online and off. I hope this delivers.

Looks like low res CoD4 minus a few minor details. I might check this out eventually if it ever gets to $20ish.

From Kotaku. DigitalFoundry. I'm interested. We'll see. I like the comparisons, same game, but I can see the pleasure.

I have been playing it tonight and it looks like a freaking n64 game on my lcd.

Eh, for the Wii it's pretty good. I've seen some videos, and considering all the stuff going on during multi and single player, it's what you'd expect from a high-end multiplayer shooter on that generation of hardware.

Not buying it since I played hours of COD4 on my PC, but it's nice that Wii-only owners will finally get a chance to find out what the big deal is with Modern Warfare.

i picked it up because i wanted to play the two cods back to back and wanted something different playing cod mw again. 
 
its pretty fun so far and easy to blast people in the face. 
 
Indeed there is multiplayer, same interface as the ps3 / 360 ver. 
 
However it does use friend codes and you can have a friends list. 

This looks pretty good.
 
I played some Call of Duty World at War on the Wii, and that was a solid title that looked and played great for the platform.  People talk a lot of smack about Treyarch but they tend to do a great job with what they're given.

I think I need a bit more Call of Duty on GB just to make sure.

So the graphics aren't super-powered 360 and PS3 graphics?!  SHOCKING! 
 
Seriously, as long as the game plays well and the frame rate is solid, then what the fuck does it matter about the graphics?

I'm cool with it. Might give it a rent. Mildly disappointed they didn't change the name to Modern Wiifare, but whatevs.

Well, if your PC can't run CoD4, and you can't stand dual analog controls, this is the best one to get.
 
Otherwise, the PC version is just fine. There are better Wii FPS out there.

They're using the same system that WaW used, so it won't.  "

Love the game, not the console, and honestly, if you're a true fan of Modern Warfare, you should want as many people to experience that, even if it's on the Wii.  Other than the lesser graphics, this version comes with all the same single and multiplayer features of its big brothers on the PC/PS3/360.

Looks like a fairly good PS2 game. Not bad at all for that white brick I guess.
 
I'm interested in how it controls though. I doubt that will be anywhere close to a fairly good PS2 game.

I'd really like to see a QL  of this from you guys, just because I'm curious how it looks and plays for a Wii title. From what I know, it's got all of Call of Duty 4 in there, which isn't a bad thing at all really, and for Wii only owners, it's a GREAT thing. I own all 3 current gen systems, but just for the sake of curiousity, I really wanna see how this one stacks up, and if Wii owners should be happy.

Maybe now I won't feel guilty for convincing my friend into buying a Wii so long ago when there weren't any decent shooters coming out on it for him and he didn't have the cash for a 360 or PS3...

I don't get why people automatically want Wii games to fail. I've had a lot of fun with the Wii... it's my console of choice if people are over and want to have a few laughs. What's wrong with liking more than one console, even one that doesn't have the same horsepower of the other current-gen consoles?

It doesn't look bad at all. I haven't really tried out any FPS's on the Wii yet. I might give this a rental since I already own this on PC.
