That sword looks more like a pair of over sized plyers.

Can someone put together just face pics of FF characters and make a game called, "Guess the Gender"? That would be awesome!

I appreciate the simple design of the box art. I think it looks great.

I don't understand how that red pouch would stay up. Plus, the chafing would be intense!

I want half-baked, five o'clock shadow, no tie wearing dude to announce EVERY video game release date from now until infinity.

Found it funny. The "Some guy" from the release date trailer, also saw him in a cheesy insurance commercial on CBS

Suddenly I feel like more game covers should be more minimalist. Maybe that's why I'll spring for the Mass Effect 2 collector's edition.

The UK/European box Art always looks cooler then the North American versions. Always keeping the same theme on each iteration of FF. Hopefully this is just the US version.
 
As a student of 3D however, thats a really nice render and has been my desktop BG for a while.

Meh. We all know the PAL box art will be better.

You know what would be more awesome than this box art?  A really good FF game that isn't at least ten years old.  I know it's unlikely, but I still have faith.

I think it looks like shit. Its a render of lightning stuck on a gray gradient with the logo in the corner. I want to know who was responsible for making that and why they didnt hand it to a more capable artist. They have hundreds over there at Square.

Looks like a real doll with a final fantasy logo slapped on.  Terrible.

It's thigh time for a minimal design such as this.

Yawn... Still waiting on news of whether or not you're bringing DQIX to the states, Square-Enix.

Rumour has it she's going to seduce a girl in this game and have lesbosex. Sounds like Final Fantasy to me :D

I like it, nothing crazy like some other iterations. Reminds me of FFX's box art a little.

Let's say a more vibrant background would of been appreciated. like maybe... some trees ? ocean ? house ? whatever... just something... even a pack of peanuts

Should I be happy I only have a 360 when I check these box-arts? Or cry that they have to market to the 360 audience in a more, revealing, way?

Whatever the case - I'm stoked about this game. I always liked the FF series (back when they were ported to PC) but never managed to get into consoles as much. Shame I had to miss so many great FF releases.

More leg = win. Also the 360 banner fits better with the background, that's a first I guess.
