For some reason, I'm really excited about Rock Band 3, probably the most excited I've been for a music game since Rock Band 2. The keyboard looks great, and the tracklist does not disappoint, and that's not even half of the songs so far.

I'm holding out for the Trumpet and Saxophone peripherals.

I haven't played Rock Band in many months, so I'm ready for some more plastic instrument goodness.

I was pretty skeptical but I'm getting sold on this keyboard peripheral.

Keyboard seems pretty awesome, but the switching between sides seems kind of jarring

Give me Subdivisions (Rush), and I'll be lining up to get that.

The Cure!  I have been waiting so long for them to appear in a music game and now they are going to in both guitar hero and rockband.  I'll be getting this one as Just like Heaven is much better than Facination Street.  Infact, the few songs I was interest in Guitar Hero 6 for are include in here, so I guess I will be only buying one music game this year.

The Keyboard will definitely get me back into Rock Band for a while.

As someone who would like to play a bit of piano this looks like a great way to try it out without getting lessons or an expensive keyboard. P.S. bass pro plz P.P.S. Matt & Kim

Okay, RB 3 ALSO has "Bohemian Rhapsody", just like Guitar Hero... 6, was it?  Unfortunately "Fascination Street" is way better than "Just like Heaven". :(

I still have a few things to see first.  The jumping back and forth on the keyboard seems find on slow songs, but what of fast ones?  What will pro-keyboard look like?   I'm still totally excited even without those answers yet, so this is a good sign.

Actually, i wish Harmonix all the success with this.. as opposed to that GH6-thing, and I've been a GH dude for some time.. man I suck

Can't wait, having put in a 100+ hours into Rock Band 2 I'm super excited by what Harmonix are doing.

For me to buy my first of these games they need atleast 2 of 3 things: they need to have an actual musical score option for the keyboard, a feeplay option for the keyboard, and the option to use 3rd party usb keyboards. Otherwise I don't feel like being patronised by a video game, I'd rather just play my actual piano.

That track list is insane.  I love every song except for a couple in the 2000 category.  I'm officially pumped for this game!

The keyboard has me more interested than I thought I'd be. Almost enough to probably pick it up.

Kind of funny how he talk about their  innovationsin the genre, but never actually mentions any...
I so hope this game will let you download 20 songs (you actually like) in stead of just comming pre-packed with 20 crappy songs!

I'm really sold on this tracklist. The mainstream songs are of the variety that anyone can enjoy, and the indie songs sound fun to play as well as pleasant to listen to. Guitar who?

To paraphrase and butcher a quote from that Albert Einstein fellow, "I don't know what kind of songs will be used for Rock Band 3 but in Rock Band 4 they will be using Styx and 'Stones."
Obviously we know what songs they are using but this will probably be the last sequel to Rock Band as the casual players seem to be tiring of the plastic instrument genre.
