Jeff On Spike TV Tonight

GameTrailers TV gets a healthy dose of Giant Bomb as Jeff and Geoff discuss the most anticipated games of 2010.

Hey, quick reminder for all of you television owners out there. I'll be on GameTrailers TV tonight. It airs on Spike TV at 12:30AM, though with cable being cable, you should check your local listings. With my DirecTV dish, I get the east coast feed of Spike, so I'll get the show at 9:30.

I'll be discussing the "Most Anticipated Games of 2010" with the show's host, Geoff Keighley. Admittedly, the games I brought to the table are probably the most common picks in the world for this category, but then, I tend to favor games that I know next to nothing about or games that are coming out so soon that I can practically taste them.

I don't want to get too much into the segment before it airs, since I don't want to spoil it. But I'll certainly have more to say on the topic tomorrow, so come back to the site for that. Here's a promo for the show, but I should warn you... I'm not actually in the promo.

I just watched this. They should have given Jeff more screen time. But then maybe Jeff shouldn't have said SSF4 was his most anticipated game. It will be good but come on, it's a rerelease of an old game.

Most obnoxious? You haven't seen much, then. 
 
That Platinum Games joint looks pretty crazy, obviously we know next to nothing about how it will look or play, but still...awesome trailer.

Street Fighter 4 is your most anticipated game of this year? Really? Anyways, Jeff had the best energy of any of the other guests. Gotta give him props for publicly saying that Nintendo better step it up with their next Zelda game. Definitely excited about Red Dead but I hope that it controls a lot better than the GTA games.

I just watched in on gametrailers.com, and for the trailer about the origami killer. When the voice from the computer told him to cut off his finger... That sounded a hell of a lot like the computer from portal.

GTTV makes me wonder how a TV station for "men" can outdo a TV station for "gamers" with just one show. Please find another network, Adam Sessler. I love you too much to see you confined like that.

Not shocked at your choices Jeff, I was really happy that Garnett pushed Heavy Rain, the game I am very excited about thats not as big God of War 3 or Red Dead Redemption. 
 
Secondly I am in total agreement on Zelda. The formula needs to change and though it being an "industry changer" is a tall order, your right that if anyone can do it, it's Nintendo and Miyamoto. For only a couple minutes of air time, you made some good points Jeff.

Surely the problem with trying to do a show aboput 'most anticipated for 2010' is the lack of any real information about games intended for release toward the end of the year?
Seems like a stupid idea for a show to me.

Jeff is saying that when it is 9:30 on the west coast, it'll be 12:30 on the east coast, so he can watch the east coast feed at 9:30.
