It's an isometric shooter. The why? I have no clue whatsoever. Like seriously... who is this for? They were better off just creating a new IP for their shooter, since adding the SH brand to it only harms more than flourishes.

I will buy the HD collection and maybe the sequel if it isn't garbage like the last couple games have been. Fuck Book of Memories.

Yeah, it's hardly a collection, it's a double pack at best. And like Metal Gear Solid HD Collection the first game is ignored. And honestly, try and make sense of Silent Hill 3 without playing the first game. Seriously, it's a DIRECT sequel to that game, Silent Hill 2 is stand-alone though and the best in the series.

And what the hell is Silent Hill any more? Multi-player? Geezus. Remember when every monster was supposed to represent something from the protagonist's sub-conscious and they weren't just "look the zombie nurses are back!!!1!" ... People may have a go at Final Fantasy or Call of Duty, but I think Silent Hill needs to take some time off, get back the original guys and work out what makes the first three games so good. Hint - it's not the combat and it's not all about the gore.

Well, I guess this means that I have an excuse to watch the Silent Hill, Shattered Memories, Five! - Quick Look again...no complaints!

I played Downpour at the Eurogamer Expo and the demo (at the least) was awful.

I finished Silent Hill (the PS original) five times but got into PS2 too late to go back and play 2 and 3. Will definitely pick me up some HD collection.

Can't wait to watch YouTube playthroughs of Downpour. Yeah, I'm one of those who enjoy watching Silent Hill rather than playing. My stress and anxiety levels functions the same with either or.

Can't wait. Definitely buying HD Remix and Downpour. Not sold on the vita yet.

Fans are going to have no shortage of Silent Hill come March.
