Fatshark's Lead and Gold: Gangs of the Wild West opened up for pre-orders on Steam today, and if you "pre-order" the game, they'll let you start playing it--well, a beta version of the game, anyway--right away.
In case you forgot, L&G is a class-based third-person shooter set in the Wild West. Fatshark brought it out our way a little earlier this year, and we managed to have a heck of a time playing it. So I went ahead and placed my pre-order already.
The game will leave its beta status behind on April 8 on the PC, at which time the 10 percent per-order discount will evaporate, leaving behind a full price of $14.99. Console versions of the game are also in development, though no specific release date has been given.
We'll probably be taking an expedient glance at the beta next week, so stay tuned for that.
