Liara To Join Shepard In Next Mass Effect 2 DLC

The wait for more Mass Effect 2 DLC won't be long. Earlier this afternoon, the studio announced a new piece of content--a possible digital tie-in to the Dark Horse comic book series Mass Effect: Redemption--that's set for release "soon."

Lair of the Shadow Broker, as the DLC's title suggests, will have you rolling deep in the mysterious world of the Shadow Broker, attempting to "even the score" with the galactic influencer. Perhaps of more import for the franchise's fans, though, is that Shepard will be joined by blue-skinned Liara T'Soni in the DLC. If you remember, she was a possible love interest in the original game and played a small role in Mass Effect 2 as well. 
 

I'm quite excited about this. 
 
It might be time to jump back into Mass Effect 2.

I'm at the point where I'm going to buy any DLC that BioWare puts out, no questions asked.

Well, this certainly looks good. Hopefully Liara will have more interaction than previous DLC characters...

Damn I just bought xbox 360 s and now I'm playing Mass Effect 2 again.. Too bad I have no money for DLC -.-

This pleases me.

The previous 2 mission DLC where good. This has a lot going for it.
I'm going to buy it if it's at the same price point as the previous ones.

At first glance, it looked like Garrus had a light machine gun, like an M60 or something. Damn, that'd be awesome. But nope, just a sniper rifle. OR IS IT?

I'm disappointed this is just being thrown in as DLC. Get the feeling it will be the usual Shepard/side character voiced with the other party members being silent. Would like to of heard some Garrus+Liara banter, or Tali.
 
Oh well, adding it to the very large pile of DLC I need to get through for my perfect playthrough before ME3.

Nice! I wonder if romance stuff will be brought up in this. I went for Miranda instead, I'm doing a second playthrough right now and I haven't initiated any romance yet. Would be cool to get some more continuity in that area, which I thought was rather lacking in ME2.

I believe in BioWare in making a good DLC out of this one.

Going to get this and continue to S-rank ME2

I love me some mass effect.

I spy a new pistol and assault rifle in the screens.

I'm holding out till they release some sort of a ME2 DLC compliation.  I paid the 7$ for Kasumi's Stolen Memory which I finished in less than an hour.  $7 for an extra hour of ME2 is not worth it, no matter how much I love this franchise.  Hopefully the others have had more substance?

I've already passed mass 1 & 2 once.  Now that there's quite abit of dlc for mass 2 I think I might just have to replay them both again, but with all the dlc.  I'm thinking it's a good idea to wait until all mass 2 stuff is done to restart this epic journey.  Anyone else in the same boat?

Crap.  I wanted to wait until all of the DLC bridging Mass Effect 2 to Mass Effect 3 would release until buying them all, maybe even in some pack, but man do I want to see more of Liara.

I really hope Liara has actual dialogue and not just canned responses if she becomes a part of your team.

I remained loyal to her in ME2 so she better "reward" me for my abstinence.

Nice, setting Liara up for ME3?  Must be - she's the only party member who is definitely still alive at this point.

Cool. I picked up the Dark Horse comic yesterday.

Man, I can't wait to revisit this game with all the DLC added on. Unfortunately I haven't downloaded any extra content as I'm kinda waiting for some type of deal with all of these packaged in. It may never come, I know, but by the time I can get around to playing again there might be something!
