Marvel vs. Capcom 2 XBLA: July 29

I think Monkey Island, and maybe Splosion Man are the only two things on that list that are interesting to me.

Awesome. I guess I will be getting the 360 version, screw waiting.

Hmm least we cleared that up. I wonder if the rumors of the MvsC2 joy pads are true.

The only two I'm not interested in are Trials HD and 'Splosion Man.

Monkey Island is next week though. So it probably starts on the 15th. This is forgeting the most important part though

I'm dissapointed. This game was a PS2 and arcade exclusive (from what I know of). And they turn around and dis Sony like that? C'mon it's not that hard to have a simultaneous release Capcom. You've done it for Street Fighter. Well, they'll probably release it the following thursday like all PSN games.

My local Gamestop has been gettin in random SF4 arcade sticks in.  Great time to pick one up.  Already baught the point card to download MvC2.  "Wanna take you for a ride"

I am getting this day one-I loved the original but never got the chance to play MvC2.

Capcom Europe has the Playstation 3 version listed as july 29th as well.

I don't think MISE is part of Summer of Arcade, but it should be.

Oh crap. I need to buy a Xbox points card. Maybe two.

$15 price tag makes it a hard decision for me.  I have it on the Dreamcast and really played it to death.  If it was $10 i would be all for it, but at $15 I don't think i miss it enough.

Yeah! But this series is so insane that I may pass this one. Still, a trial will be downloaded...

No thanks @ MvC2, as I already have the Dreamcast version... and if I want to play online, well, I'll just play the best online fighting game ever made: BlazBlue 

I might have to pick-up Shadow Complex, Monkey Island, and TMNT though.

Shadow Complex makes me giddy.

The summer is always such a good time for arcade downloads.

Really wish people would stop swooning over blatent cash-ins.

Capcom need to focus on their new IPs rather than whoring out their old games. TMNT: TIT and Monkey Island are other prime examples... it's the same game with updated graphics! Don't support these developers, instead support fresh and interesting games such as 'Splosion Man and Shadow Complex!

XBLA has a great line up (better than the PSN) and it would be a crying shame for people to give their hard earned money to the publishers/developers doing NOTHING new.

I was excited for this game but remembered I'm terrible at fighting games.

Gee, I really wish I could play MvC 2 without it looking shitty on my big TV that didn't exist 10 years ago, or I wish I could play it online against real people because arcades are dead.

While I'd have preferred a Marvel Vs Capcom 3 for example, I understand that licencing would have been a nightmare. I loved MvC2 so I'm sold. Also Monkey Island is a cert as well, I adore that game!

Pretty much common sense as to what was going to be released when during the Summer of Arcade, but it sure is a nice surprise that Shadow Complex is only 1200 points...So I can get that and MVC2 for half the price of a normal retail game, yummy!

I'm suprised Trine isn't a part of the Summer of Arcade, even if it hit PS3 first. Sounds like a solid title that'll probably end up being better than most of the Summer of Arcade titles.

Looking at this list, I am excited about Monkey Island Special Edition and interested in Shadow Complex.

Finally, after this game, Street Fighter III will finally be the next game that Capcom re-releases.
