Mass Effect 2 Weapons DLC Out Today

Well, I'm not really going to pay for some weapons. Sure, they could help me in my missions, but I can do those without them. So, no, thanks, BioWare.

I don't think these are necessary, the in game guns do the job just fine.  I'm happy its out though since that means Shadow Broker is that much closer.

These would have been great...when I was going through the game the first 3 times, now they just seem meh. 

These seem so silly. Personally paying $2 for some guy to take an hour or two in 3DS Max to change around a model and 2-3 min to open a text file and add in some numbers seem ridiculous to me. This is the kind of crap that should be on that Cerberus net thing for free. Remember that thing EA? The service that was supposed to give us free DLC.

Awwww.. I see. When I read the news title my looking forward to Shadow Broker brain blocked out the word weapons and I read it as Mass Effect DLC Out Today. Me = thought it was something else.

I'm mad that I lost my-srank on this game with all this new DLC they keep slapping on.  I hope they release a "GOTY edition" or some kind of bundle so I can just grab them all again at a discount and reclaim my lost glory.

Worth picking up for another playthrough as a soldier?

I'm buying it. I loved this game too damn much not to.

Feels like that every other week, Bioware releases something for Mass Effect 2 or Dragon Age.

I'd rather see a larger content pack than cheap piecemeal DLC. Might be a bit more significant to me if the guns in ME2 were a bit more varied.

Hmm.  I like Mass Effect 2, and I like new weapons.  Also, I like not paying much for stuff.  Sounds like win-win for me.  

Somehow I still can't pay for more weapons.

Anyway, Insanity runs are no effing joke, and the DLC locker packs are clearly tailored to that.

I'm leaving my second and third playthroughs of Mass Effect 2 for a month or 2.  Let all the DLC come out and play it all at once.  I doubt I'll get all these weapon and armour packs but that assault rifle looks awesome

Probably wouldn't buy this otherwise, but I just happen to have exactly 160 MS points lying around looking for a home.

I just started to play Borderlands again because the DLC was on special offer. I'm thinking I'll pick up a lot of the ME2 DLC when that goes on special.

I just wish i hadn't picked the ultra assault rifle or whatever it was.

Just release the Liara DLC.

I want to do another play through on this, but if I did it would have to be renegade as I'm always paragon... I just can't be evil in games with moral choices, I can't! That being said, the weapons/DLC would be a good reason too... ARGHHHHH.

I have yet to get any of the pay-for DLC for Mass Effect 2. 
 
I am considering getting some of the other DLC, but I don't know how I feel about paying for guns in a game about shooting.  Hopefully this is a failed DLC experiment for BioWare and they figure it out for Matt Effect 3.

More guns is always a good thing. And for 2 dollars, it's a nice impulse buy.

Hrm, too many small DLC packs that I shouldn't spend money on right now but am very tempted to do so. Give me an update, free or cheap, with Live achievements for the PC. Then I'll be a happy narwhal.

Who still plays this game?

Not happy about the price, but at least it is better then the costumes!!!  I'll probably get it to hopefully aid my Insanity run-thru!!!

DLC is a disgusting plague on gaming.... $2 for 3 shitty guns? 
 
This is bullshit, I will not support it. 

Publishers/Developers need to find incentive for fans to get excited about their DLC. Something like this offers no motivation for players who have already beat the game (in some occasions multiple times). I found this problem with Assassin's Creed 2's DLC. After playing through the game and experienced the plot twist, Ezio's backstory became insignificant and all care for the DLC went out the window.

I'm on my first play through the game right now. Would this break the balance by using them now, or are they best used for second plays through the game?

I don't play this anymore but hey, I will take a look at it.

Two bucks? Hmm. You know what... no. It seems like a deal, but that's still ridiculous when you think about it. Plus, I don't play Mass Effect for the guns.
