Mass Effect 3 Delayed into Early 2012

Not too disappointed, prefer a polished game over a rushed early release one

Certainly not  concupiscible. Prolonging it this much will definitely steal some of the dramatic effect.

Totally saw this coming. I have so many games i'm trying to work my way through though right now and so much stuff i'm looking forward to this year that it doesn't really matter. I really need to get a grip on those drunk amazon and XBLM purchases :S

I expected this from the second they announced it at the VGA's.

it's OK. there are so many games coming out this year. so far we have already enough new games within 6 months. we have rage, deux human revolution, duke nukem, the wicther 2, dirt 3, assassin's creed revelation,  battlefield 3, gears of war 3 (for console kiddy), skyrim, and so on. so many games are coming. so ME 3 in first three months in 2012 is a good choice. just need to take a break.  

Just take your time with it I say - better that rushing it and messing it up.

That's a relief, now I have time to play Skyrim.
Don't know how I'm going to afford the xmas game onslaught, I'll buy Skyrim then buy the other games on a monthly basis. My studies are gonna suffer =(

Good. There is waaaaay to many games coming out this holiday anyway.

i don't mind it just means that the final game will be that much better.

this means I can actually play ME1 and 2 for the first time now before the series is done :D!!! Go 15$ steam sales!

More time for Skyrim AND more time for BioWare to spend time and really polish this off. 

I knew that this would be delayed.  I am glad they are taking extra time to ensure that ME 3 is as great as it can be.  This not only gives me more time to play some of the games I missed from last year, but some of the awesome releases planned for 2011; before I play through ME 3 several times.

Awesome, i still need to do a perfect me1 and then me2 save ready to import it into me3 x

Here's hoping this is a sign they have learned from the rushed DA2 release.

To me, I think this is a good decision. Normally delays suck, but this is an exception. I want the Mass Effect 3 experience to be as perfect as possible, so if that means a few months more to wait, then so be it. Also, with the amount of games coming out this year, I'm glad 2012 has its fair share of big blockbuster games. Work hard Bioware!

It sucks, but I'm not really bothered by it.  Mass Effect 2 was pushed back into the early month of the next year and look how it turned out.

Oh well I'll just play more Skyrim and Dark Souls until it's released, not a problem at all.

It's truly is a shame that we won't get to gorge on ME3 yet but considering the fact that they're really going the extra mile to polish the game and truly make it the best in the series I can overlook the fact that it isn't coming out this year. 

This is my least favourite delay on The Citadel.

If we learned anything from DA2 it should be: BioWare needs to take their time developing games. Don't rush that shit!

Because some of us would rather stab ourselves in the eyes with forks than plan an online multiplayer game.  I'll take a proper story and character development over being shot at by a 12 year old that likes using swear words, thank you very much. "

Although I find it titillating that there actually is a game that makes me this mad when it gets delayed. 

Mayb they made it a lil too DA2 and decided to fix it.. hahaha jk  Pretty sure most of the people who made that pile of shit werent workin on Mass Effect..

I always rpefer this kind of announcement over the "we brought back the release date EARLIER" and end up with a rushed out project. (Sonic 2006, Prince of Persia: Forgotten Sands, etc..)
