It's sort of like Summer of Arcade, but not in the Summer!
Microsoft's promotional blocks for Xbox Live Arcade games, like Summer of Arcade, always feel like a success for Microsoft and the developers that are selected to release their games within. So, you'll have to excuse our utter lack of surprise upon hearing the news that another XBLA promotional series is coming to promote four more titles outside of the Summer (or the Spring). It's called Game Feast, and it kicks off this Fall.
The last game to be released in Game Feast will be Team Meat's indie-developed platformer Super Meat Boy on October 20. Big on difficulty and style, it's one of those XBLA titles you'd expect to love just from viewing a smattering of footage.
The rest of the games to appear in Game Feast? According to Major Nelson, the block kicks off September 29 with Hydrophobia. Twisted Pixel's Comic Jumper will follow that on October 6, and the hotly-anticipated Pinball FX 2 will appear on October 13. A quick note about Pinball FX 2: it's not a game so much as a platform (and a free download as a result). If you're a proud owner of Pinbal FX 1, all your tables will import into the new game. Subsequent tables will be sold separately.

There was also a Twitter announcement from Team Meat, too, but it seems as if that was pulled (via Joystiq).

Hydrophobia is coming out on XBLA? I feel like I've been hearing about that game on and off for a few years. Looking forward to it but I'll probably get the PC version if it's still coming out there.
Great I guess quality downloadable games on Live can't come out now without being thrown into Microsoft's Gimmick Seasonal Events. Funny how the tagline for this pretty much implies that everything is worthless shit and Meatboy is what everyone really wants
More awesome arcade games is always awesome Know what else would be awesome? If for the awesome $60 a year I'm paying just to access this stuff I got one of these awesome games for free or for a awesome discount
Pinball FX is a pretty awesome video pinball game. I'm just hoping it has more game-themed machines, or perhaps it's able to licence some of the more famous ones.
So the thing about Summer of Arcade was that not only was there a pack of cool games but every game was exclusive to 360 (At least for a bit) and if you bought all of them (Or 3 of them in the latest one) you would get some points back. So, is Super Meat Boy now on an exclusivity deal and the PC/Wii versions will be out later and is there any kind of deal for buying all of them?

this is what i'm hoping...if it's the Game Room of pinball tables, i'm sold. Pinball's like a quote from a movie about sex and pizza...in that even if it's bad it's still pretty good.
HELL YES! I love the promotional blocks, and all these games look fucking awesome! Totally psyched about Hydrophobia and Comic Jumper, and this Super Meat Boy game is looking pretty cool too.
Hydrophobia's a downloadable game? I had no idea. Anyway, if it's as good as I hope it is, I'll still be getting it on the PSN instead. Game Feast was announced to draw attention away from the price increase. Screw that noise.
Glad that these are coming out soon as all 3 look awesome over the hit or miss summer of arcade. Sometime in the next couple months/fall too is the 2nd encounter of Serious Sam also :).

I don't listen to metal (more of a hardcore fan) but just for technicality sake I just say metal. It has the big picture, text integrated into it and plenty of room for a list of bands at the bottom.
