Minecraft, Trials Evolution, Fable Heroes, And Bloodforge Have Dates, Prices

I'm not sure how this is better than House Party. Trials HD on one hand, Alan Wake on the other. Fable looks crap, Bloodforge I don't know anything about and I expect the XBLA version of Minecraft to be severely gimped. It's more of a toss-up really, depending on how much you enjoyed Warp House Party might even be the better one.

Trials Evolution looks amazing. I wasn't as big of a fan of HD as others but it looks like a lot of fun. Bloodforge looks fun as well. Yay for 400 points!

The 400 points thing is long overdue.

XBLA games have been getting meatier but their devs had to choose between easy of-course-you'll-get-them achievement sets or very challenging sets without much middle ground due to having only 12 to work with.

Trials Evolution is my most anticipated game this year, who needs anything else?!

someone should really find a way to pay brad for playing trials for a week. unless its a paid vacation then its alright. i really hope someone covers minecraft.

Trials and bloodforge are the one's i 'll go for . Bur i have to say ; the line up for arcade games is getting weaker it seems ,by the year . For instance : the launching of destination arcade . That was a great app for all your arcade games and it was realy good organised . But the app was cancelled for one reason or the other and now we have the U.I as it is . Wich for the arcade bit , is a lot less organised and a lot more hasle .

The Arcade has lost it's momentum a long time ago and Microsoft does not seem to want a solid Arcade / Indie scene on the 360 world wide.

Also, 400 points may be a small thing but it makes me feel happier about Minecraft being 1600 points (although I think the game is worth that too, particularly if you have friends getting it).

1600 is definitely worth it for Minecraft if it's your kind of game, but I think I'm contempt with my PC version.

I hope Bloodforge is good, but it's so dark and muddy. I know that's what all you "cool" kids are into these days - growing up on the Xbox1 and raised to hate color, style and fun-looking visuals - but I think it looks like shit. It could totally hamper an otherwise dumb, fun brawler.

I thought Minecraft was Kinect only. Since it isn't I might get it. I always thought it looked pretty fun to mess around with.

@Patrick Penny Arcade did it. just to join in with the (hopefully) respectful tidal wave of responses. Not knowing something as banal as that is fine, mostly because I'm happy it's a One-off rather than a trend... (the price that is)

I'd imagine that unlike PC Minecraft, this won't run like shit on anything sort of a supercomputer.

Does anyone have any information about Minecraft's online multiplayer? I'm hearing stories of up to 8 player online fun, but its planned to be patched in later - as with the Kinect support I guess. Could anyone enlighten me?

The Penny Arcade XBLA games were $20 when they first came out too.

People complaining that Minecraft is 1600 ($20) forget the PC version is currently $26.95.

Really curious about the Kinect stuff for Minecraft.

Kinect support for Minecraft? Yeah, I'm sure thats one of its biggest features. Why dont they actually add all the gameplay thats in the current Minecraft, hell at least to 1.0. The only reason I see buying this version of Minecraft is so you dont have to rent a server to play multiplayer and so you dont learn the crafting recipes for anything, the game just tells you what you are missing. Also, who cares about Fable Heroes and Bloodforge, both look horrible. I'm kind of excited about Trials though.

I love Minecraft, but I don't pay-$20-to-buy-it-again love Minecract. Especially when there's like 15 adequate clones of it for a dollar each in the indie games section.

I wasn't just talking about the XBLA version. It's a sandbox game so one's enjoyment is mostly limited by their imagination. I've put a lot of hours into MC (PC version) since buying the beta and I still think Mojang hasn't done enough for the price they're asking. Maybe this sentiment is just a reaction to how Mojang/Notch have been treated by the press and hardcore fans.
