Another game that I buy and instantly goes F2P! Yes! I'm done buying multiplayer games. I'll just wait for them to become free to play in the future.

Monday Night Combat is awesome.

I guess I should upgrade my PC, because it looks like the 360 version is pretty much over.

I'm happy with the current PC version, thank you very much. 
 
But I suppose I'll take a look at this. It makes me worried for some reason, though.

That's the joke. It's a rip on the SNES way of branding "new and improved" versions of games. It's happening a lot more now that young developers making downloadable games have a lot of nostalgia from growing up with that platform.

After watching the trailer on kotaku it seems they are trying to market this as less of an arcade-like 3rd person shooter with light upgrade and tower defense elements, which is how I looked at the first one, and more of a competitive to be taken serious MOBA, literally calling itself DOTA like and referring to the characters as 'pros' instead of classes. heck the map featured in the trailer even looks like it was stripped out of DOTA. Did anyone get the vibe of a well crafted, competition level MOBA from the first one?

I can't say I'm not a little let down that the 360 isn't getting this. 
I enjoyed MNC but eventually stopped playing due to lack of variety and balance issues. 
I was quite looking forward to a sequel. 
Another day, another game I suppose.

Yeah I read some of that in the Kotaku article as well. Thankfully Uber is still awesome and redeems PC gaming once again :D

Well it's good news... I guess. Maybe I'm just mad because I recently paid for Monday Night Combat. I seem to buy things at the worst possible time a lot lately.

I am willing to give this a shot. I enjoyed MNC quite a bit.  

Pretty awesome! I played the crap out of the original MNC and now there's one that I don't have to pay for? Sweet!

The PC version of MNC has had quite a few balance changes, feature additions, and new content including one map.  It costs money to release content on XBL after the first patch, and Microsoft is the publisher, so blame Microsoft for not allowing Uber Ent to support MNC 360.

You expect a tiny indie developer to pay for bandwidth costs that their publisher/platform holder charges them?

Every since Ryan has started talking about LoL it's just made me want to play some more MNC.

This game sold a lot on the PC from what I have read but no one really plays it, which is odd.  Usually PC games have smaller but longer lasting communities, in this case it went the opposite direction.  Maybe this version will do better.

Well,  since the PC version is already superior to the XBLA version now,  I can't wait for this to come out.

Meh i enjoyed playing it on my sofa on a 55" than hunched over my pc.

Well, it would be nice if developers prepared for the finances required to support their titles. Wouldn't it?  Anyways, here's to Uber, I hope they keep going strong because they seem like a good team. Maybe they'll come back to consoles, or maybe I'll find myself with a decent gaming PC someday in the future.

Stop with the free-to-play titles that look entertaining! I don't have time to play the titles I currently own, let alone new ones!

I played a free weekend of MNC and the demo on the Xbox and enjoyed them, but never enough to buy it considering all the other games I've bought this year.  So I'll be glad to play it now and then when it's F2P! :)

MOTHERFUCKER. I bought this for ten bucks and played it for two god-damned hours. The one time I wanted to support an indie developer and buy their fucking game. Fuck this, never playing games on the pc again

Also you don't need a gaming PC to play MNC... A decent PC these days is cheaper than a current console and you don't have to pay a subscription fee to play online.

I did like me some Monday Night Combat... for the 3 or so weeks that it was relevant on XBLA. Perhaps I'd be willing to play more..

The original sold better on 360 so they're gonna need all the luck going up against Team Fortress 2's free-2-play community. They should've just made a new IP... please tell me any profitable free-2-play LAUNCH games.
