In related news, the current rights holders for Hellgate, HanbitSoft, claim that they're going to release a downloadable expansion for the game. Considering Namco's recent announcement that the servers for Hellgate were going to close down in February, this sounds... uh... weird. Perhaps HanbitSoft has a plan in place to rescue the servers from extinction?
