Need for Speed: The Run Is a Video Game, if This Leaked Trailer, Box Art and Release Date Are to Be Believed

I like how they're going back to The Fast and the Furious theme. Also, please let it have free roam.

Although it's hardly the issue here, I feel inclined to mention that ShopTo.net is a great retailer from a customer standpoint. They don't charge shipping yet send stuff out first class as late as 1730 and offer a guarantee that pre-orders are received on the day of release. Awesome.

Seems to be a bit more story based than the previous games and the name of the game seems ridiculous to me. Need for Speed: Run would sound better.

I think sometimes things are leaked on purpose as a marketing strategy.

i'm gonna be rocking a top notch PC by then so i can't wait to buy this and max it out.. haven't enjoyed an NFS game since Carbon so this game has a perfectly timely release !

i thought EA said they werent going to continue the annual NFS speed games. did i misinterpret that, thinking they meant there wouldnt be a new one every year, when in reality they meant the series would be semi-annual now?

Explosions! Avalanches! Helicopters! Trains! All these things and more are after your racing car. Sounds like it might be really fun. I wonder who's developing it. Black Box, Criterion, DICE, Slightly Mad Studios, some other EA house, a new developer, or a combination of the above?
