Nintendo/Sony Conference Bomb Drop

You guys over at e3  should totally try to get some answer on why there's not even a DSi-enhanced/exclusive announcement yet.

Well Microsoft is still winning by a mile...lets see what sony can pull off...

SMG 2 and the new Mario Bros look pretty good.  I may get Wii Sports Resort and I have yet to get Motion plus add-ons.  Wii Fit Plus will sell no matter what.  Nonetheless, I'll be turning on my dust covered Wii soon enough.

Mario Galaxy 2 sounds fine (if a bit strange) and Golden Sun DS!! Otherwise, not much....

AC2 looks incredible. I had no idea it was in-game until he stabbed the guard.

PSP Go is too expensive, especially when you can get a Wii or 360 for the same or less?  And 360 has Forza which has damage modeling.  Which by the way, I am now thinking that GT5 will come out, in about 2 years, just as long as it took them to announce then confirm a release for the PSP version.  Jesus.  Sony did give some good punches to MS though with the FF14 and MGS announcements, though i think those are pretty gay.  Who the fuck cares about FF 14?  FF13 hasnt come out and the fact that the combat still looks like shit means I am not playing.  They also need to stop putting in so many gay characters into these games.

They showed Splinter Cell, Monkey Island, Left 4 Dead, Two Halo games, that crazy Natal Thing, the Facebook/ Twitter thing, Modern Warfare 2, MGS game, FFXIII, and more...
Sony and Nintendo didn't have half of that.
EA's Press Confrence was even better than Nintendo's if you ask me.

Sony had a strong conference

Sony had a pretty good press conference. PSP Go seems pretty cool, AC2 gameplay was great, God War III made me jizz, Uncharted 2 looks awesome, and the ball on a stick seems like competition for Natal.  Jeff is probably like MAG!!!! Hell yeah.

As I can see it, Microsft did slightly better than Sony, and once again, Nintendo didn't do too well. The only thing that interested me was Golden Sun DS, and I have Persona if I want an RPG.

FF 14? Are you serious? FF 13 isn't even out yet and we haven't heard a peep about FF 13 versus or the other 13 spin off and they are announcing FF 14????? Isn't that getting a little ahead of themselves?

Uncharted and God of War 3 were impressive, along with that track editor/racer thingy. The motion control was seriously laughable. I'm sorry after seeing the potential of Natal, anything motion sensing that you actually have to have a controller or 'stick' for just seems antiquated now. Not bad, but MS won me this year hands down.

Oh, and SONY fucking blows... WTF was that 5 minute break down Jack Tretton did on how SONY is doing in fucking Venezuela?! I don't give a shit about SONY's fucking numbers on Uruguay!

Nintendo = Fail (one up from Epic Fail due Mairo Galaxy 2, though im still abit scepticle, cos it seems to soon to announce another nintendo game)

Sony = Epic Win (loved it, need a PS3 now adn i'll be very very happy =D ) 

I still say Microsoft won this year, especially when it comes to unveiling gameplay/titles. Most PS3 titles had already been announced since way back.

Only good thing to come out of both these conferences was SMG2.  Sony had nothing.  Except for maybe the demo on GoW3.

Nothing Microsoft showed held up to the sheer graphical quality of Uncharted 2.

Talking to underage digital boys, waving a vibrator with a glowing ball on top, none of that matters to me, the games I saw from Sony gave me wood.  The stuff I saw from Microsoft with the exception of Alan Wake just made me bored.

This "Age of Motion Control" bullshit just makes me sad.  I want to sit in my recliner with a refreshing beverage and a gamepad in my hand, and play the games that rock.  I don't need to wave my arms at the TV to have a good time.

WTF is up with MS fanboys.  Get a hold of yourselves for christsakes...

FFXIV is online.  It's a sequel to FFXI, that's all.  It's not like Square isn't allowed to have another series going on at the same time as FFXIII, which I recalled last year having every MS fanboy even those that now say they don't like the game claiming WIN!!1!!1!.

Also, you don't have to buy the new PSP Go! assuming your even interested in a PSP.  Talk about fake outrage...for peeksakes.  The old PSPs will work with any new download service that Sony puts out.  So, yes, you can go ahead and buy that older PSP that cost about half as much and still experience the same stuff.

I think each of the conferences held equally and had their good and bad points. And what's with the Sony & Nintendo comments getting flooded faster than the Microsoft one?

People giving square-enix shit for annoucing 14 before 13 comes out somehow fail to realise that their beloved Halo is doing the very same thing.

Mario Galaxy 2 = map pack so hardcore gamers stfu. Metroid was the only thing that made that conference bearable.

Still no really huge surprise in either conference. Well... FF XIV aside.

I thought Sony did alright. I just wish they would demo more games instead of just montage after montage. GOW3 looked really good and Uncharted is a must have. If they announced a price drop (Probably waiting closer to the holidays) then I would be happy and probably go pick a PS3 up soon. The only negative that stood out to me was the price point of PSP Go. 250 seems a little too high for that.

Nintendo was Nintendo. Nothing real exciting. Yea, SMG2 will be good I guess but probably will just be a map pack. I was really hoping to see an evolution of the Zelda franchise but only Spirit Tracks

the Natal had a guy paint a picture, a chick hit a ball and a woman draw a fish. the PS3 Motion Plus dildo lookin thing had a guy shoot an arrow into a skeleton's crotch. the Natal looks way more advanced, the Dildo, way more fun.
