Alright, I didn't know Pandemic had closed down! Was this due to Mercs 2 selling poorly?

Protip: Less faffing about and more work. Maybe then you wouldn't lose your jobs.

It's the American way. Bust your ass to be the best. Work hard. Give up your weekends and evenings and holidays. Put in more hours working than you do living or sleeping. Crash on the floor in your office. Get an ulcer over work stress. Be the dedicated, hard-working, producing contributor to your team that every company dreams of. And be rewarded by joining the unemployment line, because profit isn't enough unless it's a higher percentage of profit than the past year. My condolences to these guys and the many others out there who hit these obstacles through no fault of their own. It seems that for so many, it's a constant climb back up the same ladder.
 
The thing to learn here? It is better to be private and small and profitable than be eaten alive by the large corporate public option that requires not only success, but greater success (measured in revenue and profit percentage) year over year. If your studio pulled 10% last year, they better pull 20% this year or you're a failure.

I just might have to watch Office Space tonight.

Feel bad for them, but the dude used the sledge needs to learn to swing. Just saying.
 
Loved the Battlefront and Mercenaries games, though the formulas started showing their ages quickly.

Can't say I'm sad, they made LOTR Conquest after all.   

Not even a shooter fan, but this makes me that much  more interested in Sabateur.  I wish all affected all the best in their future endeavors.

I really hope The Saboteur isn't a rushed product. It would be a shame to see a game with real potential fail because it couldn't pull itself together at the last second.

I feel like I'm one of the three people in the whole fucking world who actually enjoyed Mercenaries 2. I thought it was good. Yes, there were things that were cut and there were some bugs, but it was/still is a fun fucking game. Mercs 1 is still one of my all time favorite games though. Only thing I hate is the invincible trees.
 
I need to get The Saboteur.
